ภาควิชาวิทยาศาสตร์สิ่งแวดล้อม จุฬาฯ ต้อนรับคณะนักวิจัยจากญี่ปุ่น หารือความร่วมมือด้านการเฝ้าระวังโรคผ่านน้ำเสียและสิ่งแวดล้อม (WES)
เมื่อวันที่ 10 มิถุนายน พ.ศ. 2569 อาจารย์ ดร. จตุวัฒน์ แสงสานนท์ ภาควิชาวิทยาศาสตร์สิ่งแวดล้อม คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ได้ให้การต้อนรับ Assoc. Prof. Ikuro Kasuga จาก The University of Tokyo และ Dr. Masato Suzuki จาก Antimicrobial Resistance Research Center, National Institute of Infectious Diseases ภายใต้ Japan Institute for Health Security (JIHS) ประเทศญี่ปุ่น พร้อมด้วยนักวิจัยหลังปริญญาเอกในทีม คือ Dr. Vu Thi My Hanh และ Yalan Gan ที่ร่วมเดินทางมาในครั้งนี้
การมาเยือนครั้งนี้มีขึ้นเพื่อหารือและวางแนวทางความร่วมมือด้านงานวิจัยร่วมกัน โดยเน้นไปที่การเฝ้าระวังโรคผ่านน้ำเสียและสิ่งแวดล้อม (Wastewater and Environmental Surveillance) และปัญหาเชื้อดื้อยาต้านจุลชีพ (AMR) ในสิ่งแวดล้อมทางน้ำ ซึ่งเป็นประเด็นที่ทั้งสองฝ่ายให้ความสนใจและมีความเชี่ยวชาญร่วมกัน
ในโอกาสนี้ ดร.ปุณยวีร์ ดุลยยางกูล จาก Research Laboratory of Biotechnology สถาบันวิจัยจุฬาภรณ์ ได้เดินทางมาร่วมหารือและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นด้วย ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้พูดคุยถึงทิศทางงานวิจัย แนวทางการทำงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง รวมถึงความเป็นไปได้ของการพัฒนาโครงการวิจัยร่วมกันในระยะต่อไป
การพบปะหารือครั้งนี้ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งจุดเริ่มต้นที่ดีของการเชื่อมเครือข่ายงานวิจัยระหว่างจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย สถาบันวิจัยจุฬาภรณ์ และสถาบันวิจัยชั้นนำของญี่ปุ่น ในการทำงานด้าน WES และ AMR ร่วมกันต่อไป

Department of Environmental Science, Chulalongkorn University Welcomes Japanese Researchers to Discuss Collaboration on Wastewater and Environmental Surveillance (WES)
On June 10, 2026, Dr. Jatuwat Saengsanont of the Department of Environmental Science, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, welcomed Assoc. Prof. Ikuro Kasuga from The University of Tokyo and Dr. Masato Suzuki from the Antimicrobial Resistance Research Center, National Institute of Infectious Diseases, under the Japan Institute for Health Security (JIHS), Japan. They were accompanied by postdoctoral researchers Dr. Vu Thi My Hanh and Yalan Gan.
The visit was organized to discuss and explore opportunities for future research collaboration, with a particular focus on Wastewater and Environmental Surveillance (WES) and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in aquatic environments. These topics represent areas of shared expertise and mutual research interest between the participating institutions.
On this occasion, Dr. Punyavee Dulyayangkul from the Research Laboratory of Biotechnology, Chulabhorn Research Institute, also joined the discussion and contributed valuable insights. The participants exchanged perspectives on current research directions, relevant methodologies, and the potential development of collaborative research projects in the future.
This meeting marks another positive step toward strengthening research networks among Chulalongkorn University, the Chulabhorn Research Institute, and leading research institutions in Japan. It also lays the foundation for future collaboration in advancing research and innovation in the fields of WES and AMR.
